The end of Certificate IV in Frontline Management…
In 2012, a review of the qualifications within the Business Services Training Package was carried out to ensure that they meet the needs of current workplace leaders and managers. On 25 March 2015 Innovation and Business Skills Australia (IBSA) decided to replace BSB40812 Certificate IV in Frontline Management with BSB42015 Certificate IV in Leadership and Management.
The previous Cert IV in Frontline Management required the learner to achieve a total of 10 units which comprised of 4 core and 6 elective units, whereas the new qualification, Cert IV in Leadership and Management requires the learner to achieve 12 units comprising of 4 core plus 8 elective units.
The new Leadership and Management qualification is suitable for employees and managers that are developing or emerging in their industries.
