The End of Pink Cards.
The mining industry was recently made aware that it is now a requirement to hold a Rail Industry Worker Card (RIWC) to operate Train Load Outs in Queensland. The RIWC replaced the previously known Pink Card. The new training requirements had to be completed by 1 September 2013.
1. White Card - The White Card training course can be booked online at Course Hunter which is offered by numerous Registered Training Organisations in Brisbane, Mackay and Townsville.
2. Rail Medical Cat 3 - The Rail Medical Cat 3 can be completed by visiting a medical practitioner in your area.
3. TLIF2080B - Safely access the rail corridor - The TLIF2080B Safely access the rail corridor course can also be booked online at Course Hunter.
Once the criteria have been met employees need to apply for the card via the Rail Industry Worker website.
