As of the 1st January 2014 the refresher time period for the Low Voltage Rescue training course changed from 6 months to 12 months as required in the Electrical Safety Regulation 2013. While this is great news for all electricians and safety observers that are required to complete the training to keep their skills up to date and to remain employable. It has severely impacted a lot of training businesses delivering low voltage rescue training courses in the capitals, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin as the changes have slashed their revenue in half.
